What’s the difference in the 3-speed and the 7-speed? I understand how gears work in general. I’m getting this bike for riding on campus and the campus is really hilly. I want to now which speed would work better for me.
If you have a lot of hills, the 7 speed would be a better choice for sure. The 3 Speed models are great if you are in a primarily flat area and have a few moderate hills, but it really sounds like you need 7 speeds.
